00 Overview

This Best Practice describes how to set up icons on SoluDyne QIS Frontpage.

01 Description
Pre-requisites:
Deviation Category exist or is created.
Register for SoluDyne Home Page Mobile exist or is created.

  1. Navigate to Deviation Category
  2. Navigate to tab for Front Page-button
  3. Upload image file
  4. Choose image 
  5. Publish node

Images should have the same size as the standard icons in the system; 160x160 pixels.

B-13342 - SoluDyne Android App

Overview
The SoluDyne Android App helps the user create QIS reports, and navigate through the Home Page and the Workqueue.
The SoluDyne Android App supports registration of multiple accounts, in this way it is possible to be connected to multiple SoluDyne servers.

Prerequisites

  1. The SoluDyne Android App requires SoluDyne 2015.01 or newer. 
  2. The SoluDyne Android App supports Android 5.0 or higher.

Description

Step 1 Install SoluDyne Android App

     

  1. Tap the Apps icon on the home screen of the handheld device.
  2. Find the Play Store icon and tap it.
  3. Tap the magnifying glass on the top-right, type in the SoluDyne Android App, and tap the magnifying glass on the keyboard to execute the search.
  4. Tapping the three dots on the right side of each entry will provide options to install.

 

Step 2 First Start Up

    

  1. Tap the Apps icon on the home screen of the handheld device.
  2. Find the SoluDyne Android App and tap it.

Step 3 Create New Account

 

  1. On first time login the register account screen is shown. Tap Ok to register New account.

 

Step 4 Registering Server

      

  1. Type server name.
  2. If in doubt, contact system administrator for the name of your company's server.
  3. Server name is typically https://serveraddress: example https://netaccount.soludyne.net.
  4. The App will check if the server name is valid.

 

Step 5 Enter Credentials

       

  1. Type username and password used to login on the server.
  2. If in doubt, contact system administrator for details.
  3. Tap Next.
  4. The App will check if the username and password is valid.

 
Step 6 Entering Account Name

       

  1. Type in Account Name. Choose an account name that describes which server that is being logged onto.
  2. The App shows the Account Summary.
  3. Tap Create.

 

Step 7 Home Page 

  

  1. Open App.
  2. The Home Page is shown as the first screen after starting the app.

 

Step 8 Navigating the Menu

      

  1. Tap the menu icon.
  2. The menu is opened.

 
Step 9 Creating a New QIS

   

  1. Tap the New QIS menu item. 
  2. The Select Report Type window is shown.
  3. Tap on required Report Type.
  4. The Report Form is shown.
  5. Fill in Report Form and send.
     

Step 10 Workqueue

 

  1. Tap the menu icon for Workqueue.
  2. Tap the Workqueue icon.
